Cleveland has been selected to host the next “road trip” meeting of Al-Anon’s Board of Trustees this October 2022. The name refers to the idea that the Board takes its final meeting of the year “on the road” away from the World Service Office headquarters in Virginia Beach so that local Al-Anon members can meet and interact with members of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. The day will be filled with workshops, panels and speakers. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for Ohio. While the Board will be in Cleveland for one week, the day which is open to ALL Al-Anon members is Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland-Independence. The full day program includes lunch. Opportunities to travel to see Akron AA sites such as Dr. Bob’s house and other local attractions. More info on registration, agenda, and the cost of the program will be available in August 2022.
