For More than 50 Years, Al-Anon Family Groups have been Helping Friends and Family Members Affected by Someone's Drinking
Call (614) 253-2701 or e-mail help@coafg.org. We listen and share our experience, strength, and hope. Through our combined experience we have found a way to be happy, joyous and free, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not.
We will not offer advice. We will not tell you what to do. We will not judge you, your family, or your situation. We will not preach god, religion, or psychology. We have no opinions on outside issues.
Al-Anon and Alateen each has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) ourselves, by encouraging and understanding our alcoholic relatives, and by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics.
If you need to talk hope is a phone call away. We try to staff the phones 24 hours a day 365 days per year. Because we are volunteer managed and run, we sometimes don't do as well as we hope. As such, it is always best to attend a meeting and get a phone list of people who will be happy to talk with you.
Hope is found here.
